“The Ala Moana neighborhood has always had a diverse food scene, and Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea Hawaii fits perfectly with the collection of one-of-a-kind, authentic eateries local residents and visitors love,” said William Chen, Vice President, ProsPac. “We look forward to continuing to welcome valuable additions to Azure Ala Moana and offering new restaurants, retailers and experiences to our community.”
A popular Taiwanese franchise, Yi Fang Fruit Tea, is named after the founder’s grandmother, Yi Fang. The cafe’s most sought-after drink, Yi Fang Fruit Tea, inherited her name and secret recipe. Her recipe, developed after a hard day’s work in planting pineapples, began with braising overripe golden pineapples into a preservable homemade jam that eventually became the foundation of the business today.
Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea Hawaii at Azure Ala Moana will be its second location on O‘ahu. The Fort Street Mall location remains open, and the Dillingham location will be operational until January 14, 2023.
