ProsPac Holdings Drives Away Hunger with Support for Hawai‘i Foodbank
Community members are invited to participate in a food and fund drive from November 16-18 at Azure Ala Moana
HONOLULU – ProsPac Holdings is hosting a food and fund drive supporting Hawai‘i Foodbank ahead of the busy holiday season. Beginning Wednesday, November 16, to Friday, November 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., ProsPac Holdings will be stationed at the Azure Ala Moana Plaza at the corner of Ke‘eaumoku and Makaloa Streets.
“With grocery prices reaching record highs and the lingering impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to affect our community, one in six Hawai‘i residents still turns to Hawai‘i Foodbank to help put food on the table,” said Amy Miller Marvin, president and CEO of Hawai‘i Foodbank. “We’re grateful for ProsPac’s support and encourage the community to participate. Your continued support is as important as ever.”
Community members can donate non-perishable food items and are invited to participate in a raffle with prizes ranging from gift baskets to Yeti coolers and Apple iPads. The most-needed items are canned fruits and vegetables, canned proteins, canned meals and bags of rice.
“Food insecurity remains a challenge for far too many individuals in Hawai‘i,” said William Chen, vice president, ProsPac Holdings. “We look forward to working together with the community to support the Hawai‘i Foodbank as it makes a difference in the lives of keiki, kūpuna and families in need.”
